Bob,
I don't know of any connection, but in my line there's a Dutch family
'COOL' which married into a WESTFALL family from Pomerania, Prussia (on the
Baltic Sea). They settled in Kingston, Ulster County, New York before some
went on to Hampshire Co., West Virginia. There was later a marriage into an
OSBORNE family from Hanover Neck, Morris County, New Jersey.
I haven't any hard data about COOLs in New Jersey, but wish you good luck.
