Sally, How nice of you to respond. Since moving to Vermont 4 years ago, my
NJ research has all but halted, and most of the info I have on this side of
the family has come from either the Rockafellow book or research done by a
great aunt for the DAR. My mother and aunts remember their grandmother quite
well, so I will have to grill them and see if I can gather any other facts
from them. They seem to remember different things at different times. The
only other bit I have is that the announcement of her marriage in the
Hunterdon Gazette says she was from Everittstown NJ, which is the general
area for all of this side of the family. Since she was 19 at the time of her
marriage, I'm assuming (oh that word) that her parents were also in that
area. Thanks for any help you can give me. Sharon
