Hi Linda,
Your Joshua Opdyke is also the father of Luther Opdycke who was a distant cousin to my William Sherd/Sherred/Shearard/etc. I have holes in that line and am totally stuck in trying to prove that William was the grandson of Thomas Sherd & Catherine Anderson (dau. of Joshua and Engeltje Opdycke Anderson).

I have a Joshua Opdycke married to a Anna Greene. They had a daughter
Francena who married Ambrose Barcroft.They died in Kingwood, Hunterdon Co.
Could there be a connection?
