Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question directly. However, please
review my document on the Garrisons of Bethlehem Township at

Subject: Was Jeremiah Johnston a GARRISON?
Could someone kindly assist with information about the GARRISON
family? Specifically, I'm searching for the family / descendants of
Isaac and Elizabeth Wilton GARRISON. I believe they lived near
Alexandria or Bethlehem Townships. I know there are some early
interments in the Garrison / Tharp cemetery.
It is said that the famous mountain man, Jeremiah Johnston, was really
a GARRISON born near Little York in Alexandria Township. He was
portrayed in a 1972 film starring Robert Redford. I am attempting to
research whether or not this GARRISN could have been a son of Isaac.
Any ideas or insights would be greatly appreciated.
