John,

Since I am no longer living in New Jersey, I can only try to remember what they have at the HCHS. I do not believe the pictures are part of the regular card catalogue indexes.

The pictures are of people, events, buildings, etc. I have never searched the picture archives, but I do know they exist!

Mr. Bill,

This is a fishing expedition on my part, and I was just thinking that it may be worth a trip for me one day in the near future. I have not done much research lately... So as I would probably toss the kitchen sink at the society, I could not burden them with my list. I learned a while ago that if I do not have specific things to do when doing genealogy research, then I get absolutely nothing accomplished.

A few more questions, to your knowledge...

Is this index part of their card catalog system?

Does the index contain both places and individuals?
