A little while ago, a list member wanted to verify that his/her ancestor owned a place where Geo. Washington slept. While this in no way answers that question, I came across something curious.
On a daily calendar on my desk at work, the following factoid: At last count, 1,013 U.S. buildings have a sign that reads "George Washington slept here."
