I do not know Mildred...............I don't remember hearing about another Lester Sherman, if I did I didn't make a note of it.....I'll keep a look out now. Aha!! I just saw this.....George R. and Sarah W. Maust were my GFather Lester's Uncle and Aunt. George was brother to Manning Force Sherman, Lester's father.

In a recent email you wrote:

Lester b. 7-9-1891 in Locktown, d. 4-6-1970 in Belmar, NJ was the only child of Manning Force Sherman and Amy Catherine Bellis.

I picked up information on the Sherman family from Mildred Wehr (perhaps you know her?), and she had a Lester Sherman as the son of George R. and Sarah Maust Sherman. I do not have any dates for this Lester, but now I gather that there were two Lesters living in the same general area at about the same time. Does that fit with your information?
