There is a book that I have made copies from on Genealogy.com (MyFamily.com
also) called "Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy, 1750-1930" by
William Wade Hinshaw. It says on the title page, "Vol. 1 containing every
item of genealogical value found in all records and minutes of the 33 oldest
monthly meetings, which belong, or ever belonged, to the North Carolina
yearly meeting of friends (whose records are know to be still in existence)
with Supplement to Vol. 1 compiled by Thomas Worth Marshall. Published by
the Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc. All this is on the title page.
There are several volumes and even though it says "North Carolina" it
contains the Fairfax Monthly Meeting, VA, (Vol. VI), Goose Creek MM,
Hopewell MM, Alexandria, among others. I was interested in the Virginia
Quakers at the time I was looking, but it has NJ also because my Virginia
bunch started out at the Hopewell MM in NJ. There was a Hopewell MM in
Virginia also, but I think you might want to check this out to see if NJ is
included in this writing. There are at least 6 volumes.
I felt like I was reading "the checklist of sins" of my family members.
Hope this helps you.
Susan
