Another Gano question........I had an aunt, Emma Gano Sherman, d. of Thomas
B. Sherman and Catherine Umstead, all of Hunterdon County. Emma's dates are;
b.10-4-1894, d. 5-4-1976, m. Lawrence Crampton. I have often wondered where
her middle name came from. Perhaps a Gano friend of the Sherman family? Has
any Gano researcher run into Emma's name while looking up info?
