Thanks so much for the links ... they were very interesting and thanks to all who had a part in restoring the old cemetery. I noticed the name of Moses Thatcher and his wife, Urania, but I don't know how they may connect to my Thatchers although I suspect there is a connection.

My provable Thatcher was Isaac C. born 28 Dec. 1835 in Hunterdon County. He married Sarah Jane Mitchell in Hunterdon in 1866. I'm trying to track back a John Thatcher who may be the father of Isaac. Family history tells me that his mother's name was Marah and I found her with the two children on the 1850 census married to another man. Unfortunately the earlier census are vague and do not divulge the family, therefore making it very difficult to tell who's who.

Thank you again for your interest and for allowing me to look at your web sites. If you can steer me in the right direction concerning my Hunterdon County Thatchers, I would appreciate it.

Dot Williamson has found some grave markers under neath the surface.
This will update the early readings of this old Williamson Burial ground.
