Mary Catherine Lomerson m Joseph Thomas, Dec 2, 1868
John A Lomerson m Catherine Ann Aller, Nov 12, 1836
I came across an article that I believe is my ggreat uncle. If anyone is
researching this lineage or has info I would appreciate hearing about it. The
story that came down thru the family was that it was another surname and that it
took place during a blizzard between Andover and Hackettstown. And he froze
to death. That would probably have been a Beatty or Thomas. Sometimes times
and facts are off, although there may be a grain of truth in the story.
Sept. 28, 1886
The down train on the Bel. Del. RR reaching Phillipsburg at 7 P.M. ran over a
man named William Lummasson between Roxburgh and Hutchinson's last Wed
evening, killing him instantly.
Thanks in advance for any help with this,
Pat
