An advertisement item in an 1861 Hunterdon Gazette claims to have placed
more than a thousand ornamental cases containing Daguerreotype photos of the
deceased on Head Stones and Monuments in Greenwood Cemetery and Laurel Hill
Cemetery.
Claims they would last "for a long number of years".

Has one observed these cases?
