Yes, but were there trains before 1795? My grandfather was a conductor
on a train in Bucks Co (the Reading RRD) when it was pretty new and this was
about 1825. Maybe some other RR's were earlier though.

Easton. Many people from small towns in NJ used to do a semi-annual
shopping trip to the 'big city', i.e. Easton. It was a real occasion.
