Hi Kim!

Sorry, but all of our Hummer's/Hommer's are from New Jersey/ New York.
Looks like you might have gotten info. from Ed Ephrom, though. :)

Hi Debbie.

Do you have a Rachel Hummer in your line? She was born in 1824 in
Pennsylvania. Maybe Northampton County. I wonder if her name got morphed
from Hommer. I am having a hard time finding her parents. I know that
there were some Hummer's in Hunterdon too. Does anyone have this Rachel in
their line? She married Hiram McIlhaney around 1850.

Thanks!

Hello, Ann!

I have a Johann Crest Kuhl/Cool that was born around 1716 in Germany, in our
family tree. He married a Eva Marie Hommer. They had had 9 children. Johann
died in Amwell. Do you think that there may be a connection?

Thank you very much for your generous offer and I am sure that you will be
swamped with requests.
Researching:
Somerset and Hunterdon County books:
Peterson, Tomas/Thomas born Abt. 1709 married Antje Lammers: his sons Peter,

Harpert (old Dutch Lines)

Hunterdon County Books: Cool/Kuhl, Frederick born Abt 1780, his father was
probably a Frederick also. Frederick married Mary (Unkown)..possibly
Egbert (old Dutch lines)
and moved to Washington Co., PA, where he died. Unable to find anything on
his wife, marriage. This link would be great as he apparently descends from

the old Dutch line.

Pennsylvania, Bucks Books:
Rowlett: John, born 31 Oct 1772, England and married Mary Edwards, his son
David (Quaker line) moved to Indiana. would like to know any information on

this gr. grandfather...direct descendant

Trenton, NJ Book marriage books
Kinney, Louis/Lewis married a Hester Dubois/Dubloise...on or about 16 May
1734
(Can't seem to find a record of their marriage; although it is said they
married in or around Trenton, NJ)

I know you will be swamped...and hope this isn't too much or too broad a
search for you...let me know.
