Fuller,
Hmmm, although there are some problems with that William, it is
certainly worth looking into. The William I need had a daughter, Charity, b. 1800,
and possibly a son, Gidion, b. abt 1795 so the dates could fit.
The problem - and I may be confused - is if William's parents were
Joshua and Elizabeth Davis and they moved to Columbia Co in the mid 1790's where
were Charity and Gidion born and how did they both end up in Bucks Co, PA?
Your suggestion certainly bears some study and I am grateful to you for
the information. Thanks.

Hazel Sheehan of Reading, PA began a search of a DAVIS family from Hunterdon
Co. (our shared ancestors are George and Hannah (DAVIS) RUNYAN.)

Our DAVIS family were Quakers (Hazel found some references to the family at
the Quaker archives at Swarthmore College.) I don't know if they have
marriage dates in their Minutes, but they sure were upset at the September 08, 1791
Kingwood Monthly Meeting that "Hannah Runyan formerly Davis had gone out in
marriage before an hireling priest with one not in profession with friends..."

It's worth a shot, I think. Incidentally, Hannah (DAVIS) RUNYAN had a
brother William, born December 23, 1764. I do not know what became of William,
but Hannah's family and her parents Joshua and Elizabeth DAVIS migrated to
Columbia Co., PA in the mid 1790's.
