John BELLIS (b. 12 Jul 1750 in Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co NJ) married Nellie
WILLIAMSON at the home of Mathias HOUSELL in the fall of 1776.

I am trying to clarify the date of John's death and place of burial:

--Some references state John died 11 Jul 1838 and is buried in Amwell, NJ,
but I have yet to find his burial location.

--"The Official roster of the soldiers of the American Revolution buried in
the state of Ohio" published by the SAR lists John BELLESFELT, husband of
Nellie Williamson, as having died 7-11-1830 and being buried in Old Richard
Cemetery, Mahoning Co OH. In 1830, Mahoning was part of Trumbull Co.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Might anyone have a date and burial
place for Nellie?

Thanks!
