Subject: Fw: [NJHUNTER] Stout family, Hunterdon to Ohio/Cozad
Date: Sat, 4 Feb 2006 20:06:53 -0600
Hi...I am not a Cozad researcher but do know the History of the family who
started Cozaddale Ohio...Left Ohio and came to Nebraska where he founded
Cozad Nebraska...This is a facinating story even if you are not related to
the Cozad's...Nebraska author Mari Sandoz wrote a book called "Son of a
Gamblin Man" about this family and the famous artist Robert Henri who is
actually a Cozad...was the son of the Cozad who founded both towns....If you
google either Robert Henri or Mari Sandoz you probably will find the whole
story...I have some information that I can dig out if you can't find it on
line...but I am sure you can google it. Need help let me know...
