If I remember correctly the DILTS are also found
under DILLS and DILTZ. I had hit those while
researching the mentioned lines.

Mary Susan's (have seen it as Susin) father is
William DILTS (I cannot find my source citation
for this but it is probably the Hunterdon Co.
Democrat newspaper.

Oddly enough William GETHARD (one of those I
cannot match up to my line) his father is John
GETHARD and his mother is Margaret DILKS. Now that
same William married one Sara Elizabeth BOWMAN and
the GETHARD of my line, George, married Anna
BOWMAN and they are sisters, but I cannot for the
life of me match William and George up as
brothers. The definitive proof is just missing.

I have found a Civil war pension file card for a
GETHARD in Easton PA, Northampton Co. Seems like
they all travel together and yet.....

So frustrating.

I think I have a lot of DILTS/DILTZ/DILKS stuff
somewhere. I just need to find it. I'll send
anything along that might interest you.

But William DILTS is a start for you. Bet they are
sisters. Because sometimes she is Susin/Susan and
sometimes she is Mary Susan/Susin.

I'll see what I can dig up for you.

My Philip Leffler m Mary Dilts abt 1808 and they
went to Northhampton CO,
Pa, and then to the Finger Lakes of NY abt 1818.
We don't know much about
them in NJ except that Mary Dilts came from
Hunterdon CO. Any input welcome!
