Jack,
I don't really have any info on the Snyder family in Hunterdon Co., other
than my family database has a Jonathan Snyder in it. He could not be yours,
but your John K. caught my eye so I thought I would throw my link out there.
The reason it seems familiar is due to the fact that my Jonathan Snyder
married a Margaret Kiple. Jonathan died sometime before 1808 or so and
Margaret remarried to Isaac Van Campen. I have no idea if Jonathan and
Margaret had children before he died. She had at least one with Isaac van
Campen named Kiple van Camp.
The name Kiple was very prominate in my family after that. Do you have any
idea what the K stood for on John K? If it was Kiple, I would think there
could some type of famial relation there although I don't have any further
info on the family.
Good Luck,
Amy G
