Thank you a million for checking on this. Yes, these are the people! Philip
and Mary Dilts Lefler born in Hunterdon CO,NJ, in the 1780s are listed 94
and 92 years old in the 1870 census and living up there in the Finger
Lakes(Seneca CO,NY) next door to their son David and Mary Covert Lefler.
They died a few years after this census and within a few months of one
another and are buried in Lake View Cemetery,Interlaken,NY. I doggedly
search for anything on them in Hunterdon Co,NJ. She is the daughter of
William and Sarahannah Jolley Dilts of Hunterdon Co,NJ. All the other
Leflers up their are their children. One, a George W. Lefler, was the Chief
of Vetenary Surgery for the Army of the Potomac under General Grant. They
were my 3greatuncle and Aunt. Bob Lefler----- Original Message -----
