Harry, I think what you have is very valuable! I am descendant of Jane Crow
Johnston, b. 02 Oct 1811, Pennsylvania. She was married to Lewis Hazelius
Taylor, Sr. of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. I believe her father was
William Phillip Johnston, b. 02 Nov 1767. He was married to Charlotte
Rowson. I believe William's parents were Robert Johnston, b. 04 Sep 1733 &
Esther Chambers.. Lastly, I believe Robert Johnston's father was Samuel
Johnston, b. 1706 in Scotland & died 1785 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
Samuel, I believe was married to Sarah Oakley. I am sure the Hunterdon
County Historical Society would love to talk to you about it. ... John
Walker Taylor, Pomona Park, Florida

currently live in Lancaster Co., PA. My father had a dump that we would
"treasure hunt" in when I was young, and I have a Webster's Dictionary dated
1854.
