From the following will abstract of Catharine, widow of John ROBINS, it
seems that Catharine was previously married to a PEGG. And one of
Catharine's daughters married a SNYDER.
I'm interested in any further info anyone might have on this family. I'm
especially interested in John ROBINS. Are any of the named children his?
Was John ROBINS previously married?

1806, May 22. Catharine Robins, widow and relict of John Robins of Amwell
Twp., will of. Daughters, Sarah Teeple (wife of P. Teeple), Ann Wilson
(wife of Thomas Wilson), Mary Gary (wife of Peter Gary) and Elizabeth
Snyder (wife of Stophel Snyder), clothing and household items. Sons,
Daniel, Thompson, Peter, Nathan (surnames not clear) and Jacob Pegg, $1.00
each. Granddaughter, Hannah Swallow (wife of Philip Swallow), 2 tin
basins and 4 spoons. Granddaughter, Catherine Osburn (wife of Emly
Osburn), pair of smoothing irons, a rolling pin and hitchell.
Granddaughter, Aeasia Gary (daughter of Peter Gary), churn and small tin
basin. To her sister, Docia Gary, a small round table and small tin
basin. Granddaughter, Sarah Teeple (daughter of Peter Teeple), one pewter
plate and tea pot. Granddaughter, Sarah Pegg (daughter of my son, Nathan
Pegg), two pewter plates and 2 spoons. Amy Teeple (daughter of Peter
Teeple) 1 pewter plate. Granddaughter, Caty Snyder (daughter of Stophel
Snyder), pewter tea pot and small pewter basin. Residue of houshold
furniture and clothing to be divided equally among my four daughters,
Sarah, Anne, Mary, and Betty. Son, Jacob Pegg, all monies. Executor:
son Jacob Pegg. Witnesses: Peter Gary and Philip Bevin. proved 25 Feb
