Bob.... I think I know about the Rightmire's you refer to and am fairly
sure I am related but I am not sure just how....That is the link I am
looking for...The similarity in given names between the Rightmires who went
to Virginia and the ones who went to Pa and New York lead me to believe they
are all the same clan...Imagine you are refering to Lewis and Eleanor
Vanderbilt Rightmire....?? Their is another branch in the Saugherties New
York area who usually spell their name Rightmyer..Probably the two families
are related...The Saugherties branch have been pretty thouroughly
researched and a book published by Lawrence Rickard. I am looking for a
Rightmire who went to Loudoun County Virginia around 1775...first name
probably James....other given names were John, Cornelius, Benjamin, Robert,
Phoebe, Eliza/Mary....possible children of James
Any clues welcome.....Alice
