The line in your e-mail is almost exactly as it appears on page 9 under
BALLARD.
See below. Apparently (?) DARRELL, Jr. was the godson of JOHN BALLARD.

The list pages with the name DARRELL is very long.
the first two on the list are:
DARRELL (?) 35, 37, 39
(?) (Jr) 9

On page 9 under BALLARD
Will of JOHN BALLARD, August 8, 1659.
Daughters, MARIE and RUTH BALLARD.
Godson. ............ DARRELL, Junr., one book called Nativity of Christ.
Grandchild SAMUEL SHERLOCK.
[So JOHN BALLARD left his godson, (?) DARRELL, Jurn, a book.]

Loving friend JOSEPH WISEMAN and EDWARD SHERLOCK, Exers.
Witness: JOHN DARRELL. (Book 1 E., page 60).
