Hello All:
I just recently resubscribed to Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter,
which is always very interesting and in the first issue I received, I found
that the Centraal Bureau voor Genealogie at The Hague has gone on line at:
<http//www.cbg.nl>
I haven't looked at it yet but the Bureau has a huge Walloon database (I
think you'll have to specify that's the area you want, if you are
researching Walloons) and a bigger Dutch database. This is just terrific!!
I was given a lot of Marquillier and Le Pla names from the Walloons who had
emigrated into the Netherlands from Northern France some years ago, about
30 big microfiches on Le Plas; many of the notations tell where the people
were from.
If you are interested in subscribing to Eastman's Online Genealogy
Newsletter which has lots of general information about what's going on on
the WEB, send an e-mail with no subject to:
and put:
Subscribe ROOTSCOMPUTING followed by your first and last name
If you want to look at their archives check:

Regards and Happy Easter to you All -
