Hello Thomas,
Although I have no specific or official dates to assist you with,
certainly the late 1800's and early 1900's were rife with deaths from
diptheria.
When I read through the burials for Hevingham some years ago for my
ancestors, whole families had died within days or weeks of one another
from diptheria. To my knowledge, our family fortunately avoided the
disease.
