Dear Daniel, there are lots of PROUDFOOT people at Aylsham. My ggrandfather mentions some in his memoirs of Aylsham and they are also mentioned in the publications I have from the Aylsham Historical Society. If you are interested I can send you the info.

Hello everyone
I have had some great responses in my search for links to my Stiffkey
Proudfeet. Thanks Carol, Jessica and Tina my newly discovered distant
cousin via the Chesney family. Anyone with any kind of Stiffkey
connection please let me know.
The Proudfoot family around Brancaster seems well mapped as does the
Aylsham branch. I am becoming more interested in the broad areas Wells,
Cley, Sharrington and Sheringham and ajoining parishes as well as good
old Stiffkey.
Have any of you good folk got stray Proudfeet in your records?
Danny Proudfoot
