Hello Anne

I have a small booklet published by E Lacon & Co. Brewers, giving the
history of the Old White Lion PH in Gt Yarmouth . This property was
originally the house of Bailiff Symonds in 1643. In the back is a small
family tree starting with William Symonds of Suffield b 1572 married Anne
Durrant. Their son John, born 1598, died 1657, married Mary Stevenson,
and the Yarmouth branch appears to be descended from this couple (also the
Belton & Gt Ormesby branch).

Don't know if this will help you but other connected names are Sheppard,
Cotton, Phillips, Harper, Morse, Wright,Cotman,
Peele,Taylor, Spurgeon, Fish, Eaton, Homfray.
