Hi All
I am new to this Norfolk site.
The names I am interested in Norfolk are THILTHORPE,EKE,WIGG,
SHICKLE(SHEKEL), LOWE and MASON.
I have a fair bit on THILTHORPE's in East Dereham. My wife is descended from
Susan THILTHORPE , daughter of Robert THILTHORPE and Elizabeth EKE. Most
fellow researchers so far have stopped at Robert THILTHORPE who married
Thomazine WIGG circa 1752.
Susan THILTHORPE married James LOWE whose parents were Robert LOWE and Jane
MASON. Robert was born c 1793 in Catton according to the 1851 census. Jane
was born in Kent but her father Benjamin, a blacksmith, was born in Norwich
c 1772 and her mother Martha was born in Catton c 1772.
