Hi List --

I am looking for information on a BOD parish based on the
following -- again from Marianne's research (am looking for
family of Bara Sivertsdtr.):

Here is the result:
Christen Olsen Løvig, b. 1846 from Vestnes in Sylte parish.
married
to:
Bara Sivertsdtr., b. 1844 in Bod parish.
children:
Jetta Christensdtr. b. 1872 in Aalesund.
Sina Christensdtr. b. 1875 in Aalesun

WHERE DID BARA COME FROM:
She came from a place west of Molde, not "my" area. I think
it must
be Bud, this is in Fræna kommune today. There is a great
history
about Bud, and also the Hustad church. I have been there as
well, it
is something facinating about this village far west with the
North
Sea as the great neighbour towards west.

Bara's father was Sivert, I had a look but there were so
many Sivert,
I did a quick look in the 1900 Census, 3 Sivert born in the
twenties
were still living, but have no idea if one of these were the
father
of Bara, could be someone else. May be Knut or someone else
in the
Romsdal area could help out? Here in the library was only
the 1900
Census for this area.
