I seldom contribute to the chatter on this list, well once in a while.
But that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy it. I spent yesterday
afternoon volunteering at VEsterheim in Madison, Wisconsin. That
hallowed hall of Norwegian Genealogy and guess what two professional
Genealogists were talking about? You guessed it right! The hollidays
and the Civil War. They might have thrown in a recipe too. They would
work until they got stumped or had a question and then went to the other
with where they were at and then the above. Blaine wasn't there, so they
could have talked all afternoon, but they seemed to use the moment to
rest and regroup before going back to the books, the readers, etc.

I think we can get so wrapped up in what we are doing that we can't see
the trees. A little rest and an "Ole and Lena" accomplish the same
thing on line.
