I don't know if there is any connection, but from your search list, we have
two things in common: (1) Gullekson (sp?) and (2) Telemark.

One of my ancestors is Kittel Gullekson, born February 9, 1812 in Tellemark,
Norway, died November 11, 1903. He might have settled in Lansing, Iowa. He
married Aspar Marie Gronstien born 9/22/1816 and had 6 children:

Hannah 1860 (born in Lansing, Iowa)
Josephine 1849
Gunder 1851
Charly 1856
Carry 1858
Marie ?

Unfortunately, that is about all I know about him.

Can anyone help on finding out when Kittel Gullekson migrated to US, or what
his Norwegian name might have been, or who parents were?

I have some ideas on where to search from being on this distribution, but
being new to the list, haven't searched much yet. Any help or ideas or
information is greatly appreciated! This is so addicting, yet fun!
