Hi Mike,
I am one of the Radio Luxembourg enthusiasts. I have a
radio music show on the NRK Troms radio station,
called "Musikalsk Mrkeloft" (Musical Attic), where I play
old records from the 50's, 60's and 70's. On one of the
shows, about a month ago, I played Radio Luxembourgs call
signal and some songs I recorded with my tape recorder in
the 60's. Lots of static.... Several women called me
afterwards and cried about old lost love.....Well, you can
imagine.
I was only about 13 when I discovered Radio Lux. I put a
wire into my parents' radio in the living room and
connected it to a speaker I had hidden under my bed. It all
worked fine until my mother started investigating why I was
so tired in the mornings. Needless to say she confiscated
the setup.
Man, those were the days!
By the way, thanks for the url, Mike.

Regards,
Eyolf Steffensen
