I am trying to locate a recipe for "Butterlake Mush". As I recall from my
childhood, it was a white,sticky, paste made with flour and some type of
liquid. This was then cooked into a mush and served hot with butter, sugar
and cinnamon. A Norwegian mother on our street used to cook it up for the
neighbor kids to eat. Sounds awful, but it tasted delicious!
