Hello all,

One of the best resources for finding family information, is in
the newspaper obituary. These often tell us things, that are not listed
in the death certificate or public records. Grandchildren, married names
of children, places of residence, the location the departed was born, their
parents names and more.
Local newspapers usually have archives, and some libraries even keep
the obituary column in books, usually in the local research section.
Here online, is a wonderful site. It shows places to find the
obituaries online, and many other interesting suggestions. Check it
out if you like, at
http://www.obitcentral.com/
Your ancestor just might be there.
Good Luck,
