I have been lurking here. I want to say that the old part of Stavanger is
rather interesting where the homes are close together and near the sea. If
one has time, that might be a place to visit. I still remember something
about it and I was there in 1987, Ruth Odegard It is difficult to see
everything you would like due to time limitations. If you have time do go to
Bergen. The fish market, a view from above the city, the churches and the
Hanseatic League Bldg are all places that give you a feel for the area.
Ships are docked from various countries.
Norway is a very delightful place to visit and beckons you to come back
again. The people, scenery and history are fabulous. Ruth Odegard
