Hi: You are right!!! The Peshtigo fire happened the same time as the Great
Chicago fire. I am from Wisconsin and I had relative libing in the
Peshtigo
area at the time. There names were Blichfeldt. They lost everything. It
was
a terrible fire and killed a lot of people. I don't have the particulafrs
on the fire
but I know it happened the same day as the Chicago fire.
