I'm not exactly sure what your question is, especially under the subject of
Catholics in Norway. If you aren't familiar with the Norwegian naming

and go to John Follesdal's "Ancestors from Norway" and read their helpful
articles. Olsen means "he" was the son of "Ole". Olsdtr means "she" was
the daughter of "Ole".
