We are all here to learn. Beliefs, traditions and ceremonies will only help
all of us to understand how we as Norwegians and broader yet Scandinavians
have developed and interact throughout the world.
I do not openly proclaim my faith as I do find this as being private and I am
an American. I guess this does not fit the profile as described.
Often in genealogy I find things about my ancestors that are unpleasant. I
find genealogy as a living science as I find new relatives as I research and
babies are born and sadly people die--nothing stays the same.
It is learning to find the science in genealogy and how all of the
"ingredients of life" contribute to the "whys" in my past.
I know I wrote in abstracts not to offend and with this I don't feel I got
the message across.
