Hi Bev!
Harriet was not a common 'Norwegian' name in that era. There are a couple of
Harriets born at that time, but they seem to have been born outside of
Norway. You could check this site:
http://www.rhd.uit.no/folketellinger_engelsk_britisk.html
Just enter Harriet and check the censuses. You certainly won't find Burns.
Maybe something in her later history could help in getting help in your
search.
