Hi Daraleen,
I don't have access to the 1930 census records, but I don't believe Fritjof
& Anna were married until 1931 anyway. I suppose they may have been living
in Stanwood in separate households though. But that is a good thought
process! Although "Anna" is a common name, I could weed out all the ladies
in Stanwood/East Stanwood named "Anna" according to age. This may give me a
hint if she was widowed, married & had children & most importantly her last
name!
As I've written to people on the list who responded to me privately... many
"sources" of information are not reliable. My great grandpa from North
Dakota had a "wrong" tombstone placed on his grave. It listed his name
correctly, but had the wrong birth & death dates on it. The dates were off
by MANY years.
This particular obituary listed this Anna's daughters. After I search a
little more, I will probably try to find the descendants of these 2
daughters to see if I have the correct Anna B. Strand.
Hope you all had a good weekend.
