International Wire Transfer: Possible, yes. Easy, not
really (quite a bit of paperwork). Reasonably priced: NO!!
Our local bank wanted 45 US dollars in transfer fee. And
then we had to "guess" at what the exchange rate might be
the next day, since it wouldn't go through until then.
Foreignmoney.com would do it for $20 a year or so ago, but
that's still rather expensive unless it's for a large
amount. They charged $5 for a check drawn on a bank in
Norway, in Norwegian funds - they mail it to you and you
mail it to the person in question.
