I have tried to find this farm in 1865 census but the only one that
shows is a Fjeldbue in Naes??
Am I doing something wrong??

Go to Digitalarkivet - Norwegian language. Select "Finn gardar" (Fing
farms), then switch from "Lik" to "Inneheld" (Contains) and type erkn
That gives you a choice of farms to look at.
