The vital records for norway in the time period you are dealing with were
kept by the church - it was not a government function. The microfilmed parish
records have the births, marriages, confirmations, vaccinations and burials.
The parish registers aren't indexed so you just have to read thru them with
burials often the hardest to determine if you have the correct person.
