Laila. Hei. My families came from Oslo area.Too

First information I have on the two children of Hans Halvorsen & Maren
Andersdatter.

(1) Andreas Halvorsen b.July 9 1814 in Halden, Ostfold. d. March 7 1896 in
Kristiansand,Vest-Agder.Married Karen Marie Helgesen date married 1843 she
was born in Feb. 12 1812 in Oslo. D. 1894 in Halden, Ostfold.

(2) Anne Marie Hansdatter ( Halvorsen) Berseth b. Oct 28 1822 in Oslo,
Akershus ( Vestre Aker) d. Nov. 12 1865 in Gamlebyen,Old Hospital Kirke
Grave Yard.She married Ole Peter Pedersen Berseth in Oslo, Ole born in Dec 1
1821 in Vaterland in VorFrelsers Kirke in Christiania.


Both Families had children that came to the USA and Canada They came to
Philda, Pa. Usa is where must of them in this port.


Anne Marie had 5 chridren

Karl Oscar Berseth
Ludvig Adolf Theodor Berseth( Children went to usa)
Georg Waldemar Berseth
Alvilde Hilda Berseth ( Went to usa)
Anne Marie Berseth ( This is my great grand Mother)( Went to
usa)


Andreas Halvorsen 4 children

Karl Emanuel Halvorsen( Children went to usa.)
Emma Halvorsen
Kathinka Charlotte Konstanse Halvorsen
Frithiof Andreas Halvorsen

The Halvorsen's and Berseth had a Restaurant in the port of Akershus ( Up on
the right side of the hill in Oslo)Its not there now. The wife and I where
there in 1999.If there is any thing else that you need please fill free to
ask.'
