I've search hvor.no for Hurdaleus with no result. I've been told by a relative that our great aunt married a man who was born in Hurdaleus, Norway (they met and married in the US). His name in the US was John H. Larson, son of Halvor and Inge Larson--he no doubt was Halvorsen in Norway. I don't have a birthdate for him but it is probably in the 1850s. I'm trying to figure out where he was from in order to possibly find an emigration record to see where he was headed for in the US.
