Mary.
I can`t tell you about anything about the Sortland things ,but I couldn`t let bee to see you also have relatives in Land.
My great grandmother was from Torpa ,Nordre Land ,and I have a lot of relatives who emigrated to USA from Land. Some of them also moved to Northern Norway. Maybe we are related??
I`m interesting in knowing more about your relatives in Land. If you have told the list about them ,I`m sorry I haven`t seen that.
