The following is from the Gjerpen kirkebok in 1711. I need help with the
portion in quotes. I think it says something about a choking with a
struggle? . I don't know what happened that Amptmann and Sorenskriver
permission would be required for her burial.

Ivar Sølis qvinde Maren 76 aar, "som udskar sin strube
med en lee" d.16.Aug. og siden idag efter Amptmandens
tilladelse og Sorenskriverens dom blev begraven.
