Hi Lill Ann!
" Ivar Søli's wife Maren, 76 years old, 'who cut her throat with a
scythe'.and later with the Amtmann's permission and the Sorenskriver's
decision, was today, the 16th August, buried."
I suppose it has something to do with a suicide's right to be buried in
consecrated ground.
Not positive where the date should go, but the burial is most logical.
