Erik,
1880 US Census, Centreville, Snohomish County, Washington Territory, census
roll T9_1397, ED 5, residence 140/140, enumerated 17-18 June, 1880: Christian
Jorgenson, head, age 33, Lutheran minister, born in Norway; Christine
Jorgenson, wife, age 22, born in Norway; Johan, son, age 4 months, born in Washington
Territory.

You might want to contact ELCA headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. They might
have information on the various parishes he served. By the way, you search
the US 1880 census for free at www.familysearch.org.

1930 US Census, village of Brule, Douglas County, Wisconsin, census roll
T626_2569, ED 3, page 7A, enumerated 18 April 1930, residence 157/167, living on
Federal Hiway: Peter Jorgenson (head, owns home valued at $1000, age 83, age 25
at first marriage, emigrated in 1879, laborer doing odd jobs, born in Norway)
and Kierste Jorgenson (wife, age 86, age 28 at first marriage, emigrated in
1879, born in Noway).

The ages and years of emigration don't quite match, but everything else seems
to fit. On the same page and also on Federal Hiway is a Georg and Tillie
Jorgenson, both born in Norway. They have a son, Francis.
